大石磨位於新界北部，共有兩個山頂，同樣高183米。西南方山頂在羅湖分類靶場演習期間會插上紅旗，而東北方山頂則有一個空置軍事兵房。山上可以居高臨下眺望深圳羅湖一帶。南面山坡上，有一個以石塊所堆砌成的軍徽，砌有「2ND BATT」和「SCOTS GUARDS」的字樣，即「蘇格蘭近衛隊第二營」。
Tai Shek Mo is located at northern area of New Territories, there are 2 peaks both with height 183M. If there are target practice activities in Lo Wu Classification Range, the red flag is hoisted on the southern west peak. For the northern east peak, there is a barrack which is no longer in used. On the hillside in southern area, there is an emblem built with rocks, with the texts “2ND BATT” and “SCOTS GUARDS”.
